The Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) will host nine meetings across Virginia this fall — including in Abingdon — and is inviting the public to share feedback on transportation projects and programs related to highway, rail and public transportation across the commonwealth. Members of the community may participate by attending public meetings or submitting comments by email or by mail.
The public meetings are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. in each of the locations, including Thursday, Nov. 6, for the Bristol District. That meeting will be at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center, Room 240, One Partnership Circle in Abingdon.
